Label to Love - Mother of Pearl

I was first introduced to Mother of Pearl four years ago when I attended the launch of Mother of Pearl's pop-up shop on New Bond Street. I loved the timeless feel to the collection which was bursting with gorgeous floral and graphic prints interspersed with vibrant colour pieces.

The label has sustained its effortless and cool aesthetic and for Spring Summer 2015 combines this with a ladylike vibe. The collection fuses its contemporary styling and prints, inspired by painter Chris Moon, alongside in-house prints with intricate embellishment details and a sugary sweet colour palette.

During the Mother of Pearl SS15 show it was clear to see that the although the label has found its own identity and signature style, it is confident to include a more demure attitude while maintaining its sports-luxe edge.

Mother of Pearl has already proved to be popular amongst the fashion pack and I feel the brand will continue to see further worldwide appeal.
