Another week has passed by and we are edging closer to the summer, a time for all the family to enjoy whether you are travelling on holiday for guaranteed sun, attending social events or entertaining friends at home.  This week I have found fabulous pieces to help you through the season.

Luxury lingerie label Bordelle, established in 2009 by Alex Popa, have created this striking bikini top and bottom with the same bondage inspired detailing that their lingerie line is often inspired by. Bordelle is the perfect choice for women who want a more modern aesthetic without lace-adornments and instead strapping and ring details. The look at Bordelle is contemporary with sleek bodycon shapes and the feeling is provocative without being garish.

This cashmere poncho by Rae Feather is the perfect travelling essential. Effortlessly elegant, it adds the right amount of warmth when you need it. It would also be my staple piece draped over my outdoor chair to wear on cooler evenings when entertaining.

Jaded London is my latest find. I am obsessed with the edgy East London label and especially this vibrant lipstick print dress. Made from a technical neoprene blend, this dress will cling to the curves for full feminine impact. There's even more print mania on their website so if you like this, definitely take a look!

If you happened to look twice at the divine Hemsley London bag in the bottom right, that's exactly what I did when I first saw a picture of the Mayfair handbag. Located at the front of the bag is an iPad sleeve with a view finder. Jane Hemsley, previously at Roland Mouret an Sophie Hulme, designs directional bags which have practical functions. I need to check my iPad for emails when I am out and about and with this innovative feature I can check up on updates easily. The bag is available in a variety of beautiful colourways but my favourite is the cerulean, which reminds me of the sunlight shining on the sea.

Jewellery is always high up on my shwishlist. This week I have found three stunning brands which everyone should know about.

Designer Elé Karela is influenced by her Greek heritage. I am in awe of this 18ct white gold, diamond and opal ring.

Theordora Warre's 'Cubic Zirconia Multibar Ring' ring is beautiful. I love the subtle sparkle from the crystals and the multi bar adds a contemporary detail. When I first started styling I advised all my clients to invest in jewellery, buying a contrast of statement and everyday pieces. Jewellery finishes an outfit and if you are like me - using your hands as a way of expression, these details are noticed. Theodora's jewellery draws on inspiration from the time she spent in Jaipur, however the jewellery is far from ethnic inspired. From delicate semi-precious hoop earrings to a more sculptural design, the collection is bohemian juxtaposed with an innate elegance.

Another jewellery brand influenced by India is the brand Zoe & Morgan, established by three siblings in 2006 with a fine jewellery collection following in 2008. The collection is beautiful, full of timeless pieces you can wear and treasure forever.

I have a multitude of big birthdays and anniversary's coming up and present hunting for these is best tackled via luxury e-tailer the Gift Library. Launched in 2008 I have recommended this site to clients on many occasions as it houses pieces you rarely find in person. I have featured the chic notecards by Mount Street Printers as all garden and dinner parties start with an elegant handwritten invitation!

To allow you a closer view of these covetable pieces, I have pinned everything I have featured to my #shwishlist pinterest board. If you would like to recommend a brand or item, email: moi@sarahhayleyfreelance.com or tweet me with the hashtag #shwishlist.
