My Oscars 2014 Best Dressed List - The 86th Academy Awards

It's 5.30am yet I am still going strong.. determined to bring you my 86th Academy Awards Best Dressed List. It was a pleasure staying up as thanks to Oscar's host, Ellen DeGeneres, not only was the evening hilarious it also had some sensational moments and great speeches. There are too many talking points to discuss now but head to my facebook or twitter for the details as the happened and I shall keep this post focused on the fashion!
It was an odd night on the red carpet, at first I was becoming quite restless wanting someone to show up in something which wasn't safe or nude. However eventually we were treated to some flawless looks. Firstly, Best Supporting Actress winner Lupita Nyong'o wore an ice blue Prada (Lupita is the face of Miu Miu) dress with a deep v plunge neckline, delicate flattering pleats and nipped in waistband.
Secondly 'Best Actress' winner Cate Blanchett graced the red carpet in a heavily embellished Giorgio Armani gown and presenter Kate
Hudson stunned in an Atelier Versace intricate white
draped dress with an over sized loose caplet detail, plunge neckline and
linear beading.
Unfortunately I was underwhelmed by Amy Adams, who looked chic in a navy Gucci gown but lacked the nominee sparkle and dress that said 'Look at ME'.
