Best Dressed at the 2013 EE BAFTA Awards

As Hollywood royalty arrived in London, we treated them to wind, rain and snow as they walked the red carpet to the EE BAFTA Awards at The Royal Opera House.
As predicted it was a glamorous affair with many red carpet style highlights and also a few surprises. Helen Mirren arrived with pink hair (I am not joking) and Sarah Jessica Parker opted for a an Elie Saab jumpsuit, instead of a gown. While many tweets thought this was a tragedy, I beg to differ. She simply went for something different and still looked polished. SJP is a long style favourite of mine, it would take something seriously drastic to miss her off my Best Dressed List, not simply opt for trousers!
I adored the bright dresses with Jessica Chastain in bright blue Roland Mouret and Marion Cotillard wearing a beautiful yellow Dior gown.
One of my favourites was Gemma Arterton in Celia Kritharioti, the one shouldered, nude and black diagonal striped gown was very elegant and a daring option. She took a chance and it definitely paid off.
