Despite suffering a debilitating morning sickness condition, The Duchess of Cambridge, in her role as Team GB Ambassador, presented two awards at the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Awards. Looking flawless in a bottle green, Alexander McQueen gown, Kate made her first engagement Sunday evening since confirming her early pregnancy.
I think this floor-length dress is perfect fit for Kate's slender figure, the deep v-neckline is one of the most flattering necklines for all women and the combination of the trompe l'oeil belt waistband (French for 'fool the eye') with the peplum creates the perfect silhouette. My favourite feature is the central thigh high split, a possible sign that Kate is prepared to be more daring with her maternity wardrobe.
