I have been searching for a new day bag to replace my beloved but battered Balenciaga,  although I haven't had much luck!  I do not want to spend thousands, I simply want a structured and sophisticated bag, under £200 with handles that will not fall apart in a few weeks, due to the many items I carry each day.
Last week I discovered new accessory brand Corder London when I was editing my glove feature. Established in 1985 by friends Mark Corder and Jim Gibson, Corder know a thing or two about designing and making accessories.  For over 27 years they have effectively created leather garments and accessories for the UKs foremost fashion designers and High Street stores.
In 2010 not content with being a success for other brands and stores, Corder launched a glove collection under their own name. 'Corder London', this then developed into a handbag collection with a garment collection to be launched soon.
Corder state that their success is due to their knowledge of high quality leather coupled with their close relationship with manufacturers which push the boundaries to ensure each piece is beautifully unique. With regular press in all the fashion glossies, no one can doubt their ability!
When I saw the Regents, a classic shape Doctors Bag with gold hardware, in their showroom I finally realised my search was over.  Not only is it roomy and super practical it is also exquisitely made and comes with an affordable price tag! Take a look at some of my favourite handbags by Corder London, above,  and meet the new addition to my accessory collection!
