Last month I spent a fun-filled day in Newcastle with the Chamilia and Newcastle Fashion Week team.  It was my first trip to Newcastle and I really loved the architecture, especially some of the original Edwardian shops in the city centre.

After a plentiful breakfast on the train me and a group of lovely press and bloggers were taken to the Chamilia HQ where we enjoyed a delicious lunch, complete with Chamilia cupcakes, decorated with edible beads!

We spent the afternoon designing our own Chamilia bracelet and it was an incredible experience.  As a jewellery devotee, I found it interesting how different the end result can be, simply because you place a different bead beside another.  I changed my mind so many times because Chamilia offer such a wide assortment. From meaningful beads, to Swarovski crystal beads, fun London beads and charity beads.  Eventually I selected my favourites and I adore my new bracelet.

After our creative afternoon we headed off into the city centre for a tour by the Newcastle Fashion Week team.  We found a fabulous vintage shop which I have already decided to visit again and we had the opportunity to see the oldest parts of Newcastle.

We ended the day sipping cocktails in a stylish bar before catching a train home.  Many thanks to Chamilia, Newcastle Fashion Week and Push PR for inviting me.

Chamilia is stocked in many independent boutiques and Ernest Jones stores, find your nearest store here.
