When I was at Uni I had a reputation of designing garments in pastel colours with a few metallic references thrown in. I watched in wonder while other classmates mastered the brights, or carefully joined a multitude of vibrant prints together, yet for me Pastel tones and my design vision simply went together. In the end my friend Ruby entitled this the 'Sarah-Hayley colour palette' and even now I am enthralled by pretty pastel palettes.

For SS12 Mulberry have once again mastered a stunning collection,  based on the great British seaside. I am head over heels in love with the candy coloured collection with models Lindsey Wizson and Frida Gustavsson.

With their summer holiday inspiration in mind the campaign was shot, by Tim Walker on location in Brighton, with the iconic pier and seafront in the background.

The collection is adorable complete with comic consideration for our typical British weather. Indeed, Mulberry have made an array of parkas and cute cropped anoraks perfect for festival fashion and our renowned summer showers.

As always the accessories are easy to covet, the Evelina hobo, which I featured as one of my Handbag Crush, is now available in a lemon patent and a further green and navy shade - yum!

If I don't end this now, I probably could swoon over this forever, so over to you to continue the daydreaming!
