Take a look at some of my favourite items from the Dame Elizabeth Taylor Collection at Christies.
Elizabeth Taylor will always reign supreme as the one true screen goddess. Her extensive jewellery and fashion collection became the talk of Hollywood for years and often dubbed “The Hollywood Crown Jewels." Her taste was flawless and after a world tour, the exquisite collection comprised of about 2,000 of Taylor’s private items, has come to temporarily live at Christie’s in New York City, where it will be auctioned off over ten days.
The good news is now you are able to bid on it! Prices start fairly moderate considering their famous owner and all proceeds are going to the Taylor estate and her AIDS Foundation. Official estimates are guessing that the will raise approx $50 million!
