Last night a series of stunning shots were released, on twitter, previewing the Chanel SS12 collection, to be shown in Paris today at 10.30am Parisian time.
With the show invite by Karl Lagerfeld featuring an aquatic scene, it was natural to predict the inspiration for the SS12 collection will reference a chic visit to the bottom of the sea, with pearls and shells at the top of my list.

One of the images features a white column dress adorned with a black, appliqued fabric structure, alike seaweed on the sea bed. The photos feature a predominantly white palette with one dress showing an elegant v-shape lace back dress. These photos, tweeted by Freelance Journalist Jim Shi, are definitely enough to whet our appetite.
