My favourite element when looking forward to Autumn Winter is the arrival of the key Knitwear shapes. This season the look is cosy and relaxed with patterned sweaters, elongated tunics and knitted dresses.

I have found 10 perfect styles, available online and on the high street, all featuring with individual design details. My favourite is AnhHa's statement embellished sweater, wear with a leather skirt or trousers for an effortlessly stylish and key season look.

This weekend I spent a few hours on Oxford Street checking out the latest batch of 'New In' SS14 pieces. It reminded me it has been a while since my last 'High Street Hits' post so here we are..!

The great British high street has mangaed once again to create completely covetable yet affordable pieces to update your wardrobes for Spring/Summer 2014. I have selected some of the prettiest pieces with a colour palette ranging from primrose yellow and powder blue to rose and cornflower.

I need to share these Primark polka-dot court shoes with you as they have featured in my office moodboard since their press day. They exemplify the SS14 season with a few key details. They are in a fun spotted print feature cut out details and also come in these sweet sorbet shades. They are entirely versatile and will compliment almost every trend this season. Keep your eye out for them as I have a feeling they will be in demand, especially with a £14 price tag!

New Look's floral pencil skirt is also a head turner. I am always a fan of any garment that can be worn in a variety of ways and this skirt has this very quality. For a night out team with a plain white or rose bralette top and matching courts or for daytime glamour wear with a white tee and a statement pastel necklace.

If you are able to shop within the next few days, Marks and Spencer's cotton knit comes with 20% off in their special sale which ends on Tuesday 25th March! Marks and Spencer's SS14 collection was one of my most favourite because they have a wide variety to suit all shapes. I do realise this doesn't apply to all stores, which is one of my bugbears. However they do make it easy to shop online if you have a small store near you.

Each season I receive an intense shopping pleasure, which has now become an Autumn/Winter ritual. On visiting the Zara Knightsbridge store I stand in the doorway for at least a ten seconds, eyes transfixed, looking at one of the most carefully edited High Street collections available. Although price-points have increased slightly, the quality and design of Zara's Autumn/Winter collections for mostly under £100 is astounding.

For aw12, Danish model, Freja Beha fronts the Zara Woman campaign and, British Model, Cara Delevingne is campaign girl for Zara TRF. The collection features studded bags, leather jackets and boots, along with a softer side with a skirt embellished with pearls.

My favourite piece is the Studio Blazer withCombined Frill, reminiscent of something we could see at Celine, this understated blazer is transformed with a faux-leather frill peplum.

The accessories are also super sharp. I would pair these medium heel, leopard print pointed courts, with either a leather shift and chunky knit cardigan or this demure crochet dress and the Zara 'it bag' from last season which has been updated for aw12 with studs.

In short, Zara's aw12 collection is my favourite on the high street and I am sure you will agree!

Although the April weather doesn't want us to skip into Summer, the high street is certainly tempting us! These glorious, on-trend, 80's referenced, scarf-print pieces are taken from my favourite high street stores, all priced under £100!

I am a fan of this trend because it suits many occasions, for a night out you can glam up with a pair of towering platforms or add some cute ballet flats for work wear chic.

Head to toe print or print on print layering, à la D&G's final collection, is not for the faint hearted but will give you the ultimate catwalk look.
