Gina Melosi's 'Shattered' collection, exclusive to Kabiri, is inspired by a previous collection created from broken glass fragments. Although Gina's glass pieces were wearable, they are not practical for everyday, thus Gina developed a 12-piece collection interpreting the same stylish pieces this time cast in 100% recycled Sterling Silver/Plated and in either White Rhodium or 24 kt Rose Gold.

I find Gina's jewellery really exciting and innovative! I am drawn to the varying shapes and I love how Gina places the Sapphires for detail without detracting from the overall piece.

March 2012 saw the return of the British Designers Collective at Bicester Village. The much anticipated pop-up boutique concept store, now in its third year, is an exclusive collaboration between The British Fashion Council and Bicester Village, one of the nine Chic Outlet Shopping® Villages by Value Retail.

The store offers the unique opportunity for innovative designers to showcase their collections to visitors, allowing shoppers from all over the globe to discover their collections alongside the established labels Bicester Village provides. That is not all, the pieces also boast the usual Bicester Village reductions of up to 60% on the recommended retail price! (shout, scream, clap!!)

I have loved pointy shoes from the time I was in sixth form, with a calf length school skirt, they always seemed the elegant option and perfected the classic look.

For a few seasons these shoes disappeared, however thankfully I have found a few pairs available on our great British High Street.

My favourite pair are the Moschino Cheap & Chic Polka Dot Courts at my-wardrobe!  I would wear these shoes with practically anything but especially a shift dress for day-wear sophistication!

Finding a perfect dress to suit all occasions is a hard task, I found Allium B when their press release landed in my inbox.  Receiving many emails a day I file everything into one folder and read through each weekend. With Allium B I was attracted to the simplicity of the collection, classic silhouettes in classic colours, suitable for every occasion. 

My favourite dress is the Elizabeth Liberty Silk Dress, which was designed in collaboration with, my inspiration nerve centre, the department store, Liberty.  The dress, in two archive liberty prints, is pretty for day-wear/lunch appointment although easily transformed into evening-wear, by adding a few accessories, a pair of heels and a clutch bag. 

It was on this premise which the Allium B story began, two sisters, Clare and Mary, wanted a staple collection of dresses which were affordable yet well made and versatile. They design for women who want a perfect fit from their dresses in addition to beautiful fabrics and intricate details.

The Cheltenham Fashion Week team dressed their most stylish, on Wednesday, for the Cheltenham Festival Ladies Day.  Responsible for entering chic-dressed attendees into the Festival Fashion Awards, the team including me, were chauffeur driven to the races in a fleet of Mercedes-Benz, one of Cheltenham Fashion Week's headline sponsors.

It was an exciting day, with my favourite entrants all winning first prize.  Margaret Connolly, from Mullingar, Co Westmeath won The Best Dressed Lady title, wearing a vintage 1950's Lilli Ann dress and coat with accessories from House of Fraser and Dorothy Perkins.

The award for Best Hat went to Alisha Whitehead from Nottingham, wearing a striking Tangerine and Black ensemble with Hat made by her, Milliner, Sister, Michelle Foley.

Cheltenham Fashion Week Director, Sam Bawden, showcased Cheltenham Designers, wearing a bespoke Kelly Thorne Jacket and Skirt with a hat by local Milliner Denise Innes.

For Ladies Day I opted for a classic navy dress by Jaeger London, Navy Isadora Clutch by LiliYang, Hat by Madeleine Millinery and accessorised with a sheepskin cape from Dlux London and Jessica de Lotz Jewellery.

Available in April, Floris London launched their latest perfume 'Royal Arms' in honour of HM the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.

'Royal Arms' Eau de Parfum is a floral fragrance with Rose, Jasmine, Iris and Ylang Ylang at its heart, top notes of violet and Bergamont and base notes of Amber, Patchouli and Vanila.

The fragrance already owns a special relationship with HM the Queen, as it  was originally released, by the company, in April 1926 to celebrate her birth. 

Shelagh Foyle, House Perfumer at Floris said, "We thought it was a lovely place to start." The new scent is a contemporary adaption from the original recipe, from the 1920's, which was written in a leather journal and contained in the Floris Archives. 

The Floris history and its family-run heritage is incredibly special, the company is one of the UK's shining stars. Juan Floris and his wife Elizabeth, the Floris founders,  began selling in the same Jermyn Street shop in 1730 and it is testament to the family that it is still here, for all to see.

Upper Street London is my ultimate find of all!  I am continually amazed by this Shoe company which allows you to design your own shoes, all at an affordable price for an entirely bespoke creation.

Last week I was invited to join the Upper Street Team and their friends to celebrate Upper Street's 2nd Birthday.  The party held at the swanky W Hotel in London's Leicester Square was everything an obsessive shoe addict could wish for! A wall of Upper Street shoes greeted guests, I could even spot my 'Sarah-Hayley' in the line, we sipped delicious Snow Queen Vodka Cocktails, chatted shoes and even took part in a special competition, designing a pair of Upper Street Shoes in five minutes.

That was not all, at the end of the evening we took home a goodie bag complete with edible biscuit shoes by Fancy Nancy, a beautiful Upper Street Book and an array of treats!

It was a fabulous evening, thanks and congratulations to Julia, Katy, Lisa, Lizzie, Kat and Emma.

For London Fashion Week I was lucky enough to wrap myself up in this sensational Faux-uk Oversized Stole.  It was also the perfect accessory today, when snow and freezing temperatures descended on the Cotswold's!

At faux-uk the fur fabrics are carefully sourced and selected from the finest mills, creating an outstanding quality and look!

Not only do faux-uk sell fashion pieces, there are furnishings for the home, beautiful accessories and occasion-accessories for weddings.

In May 2011 I attended the launch of Nina Naustdal's first collection, showcased inside her beautiful Chelsea Boutique. I fell head over heels for her show-stopping cocktail dresses and gowns, all dripped in individually hand-applied Swarovski crystals.

The collection entitled the "The Jewellery Dress" was inspired by  precious stones, dazzling to the eye and each piece unique.

As a self confessed magpie, not only did the gowns deliver on the sparkle but also with their rich colour palette of jewel toned Italian silks and  feminine silhouettes.

Nina's latest venture is an extension from her Couture collection and entirely fitting.

The Nina Naustdal debut Fine Jewellery Collection dazzles with the same finesse as her gowns and dresses.  Made entirely from White and Coloured Diamonds, set in Gold and White Gold, the pieces resonate the old Hollywood Glamour.

I struggle to find a favourite in this collection, although if pushed I adore the Cuff Bracelet featuring 98 yellow diamonds and 48 white diamonds.

Nina has a great eye for colour, design and detail. Her jewellery line completely mirrors her Couture Clothing, featuring the same prioritisation on refined elegance.

At Nina Naustdal diamonds are definitely a girls best friend!
