Can you believe I have waited five long years for this store to arrive and I couldn't be happier!

Hold on to your purse strings tightly ladies as American fashion chain, Forever 21 launched in London this week. As the news of the opening hit my desk a couple of months ago, I remembered back to when I first found F21 while shopping in USA on a month long holiday.

For the first time I decided to buy my entire holiday wardrobe stateside, so finding the XXI logo on one of the mall layout maps filled me with excitement.  A month earlier a friend  visited  and returned screaming about how fantastic the store was AND how reasonable too!

I spent a whole afternoon getting to know the staff and trying on near enough everything! The accessories department became my highlight. There wasn't a single item that was over £10 and the quality was astounding for such price-points!

As soon as my mass of yellow shoppers and me arrived at the hotel I signed up to their newsletter and began to wish I could buy online when I returned home. It was great when the Birmingham store opened, but distance was still this issue. 

Finally after a long wait, Forever 21 is on my door stop! To celebrate this momentous occasion, Forever 21 hosted a fairground themed party and naturally I wasn't going to miss the action at the party of the year!

I felt like a child again, circling on carousels fit for adults, watching girls sashay past on roller skates, eating delicious ice-cream, sipping cocktails which sparkled while I was manicured to perfection and even treated to a fab DJ set by Bip Ling, the campaign girl of Forever 21.   

The highlight of the event was a sensational hologram catwalk show where models materialised out of a screen before disappearing into a cloud of sparkles.

The stars also showed their appreciation for the new London shopping destination, with TOWIE's Lydia Bright, Presenter Zoe Salmon and Actress Annie Cooper, all in attendance.

Forever 21 has certainly landed in London with a big fashionable bang and if the launch party sounded great, it's not a patch on the store or its collections - so ladies, prepare to be amazed!

My favourite London store, Liberty, set sail for AW11 in April with a beautiful press day showcasing the new season's collections. 

Old favourites such as Richard Nicoll, Antipodium, Christopher Kane and the all important Liberty print, Barbour jackets couldn't possibly disappoint.

This season I renewed my admiration for  designer duo, Polly and Harry's Draw in Light brand. The collection encompasses wearable silk-screen printed garments, with a focus on simple silhouettes ultimately allowing the fluid print, that resemble watercolours, to be the focal point. Available from the middle of August, it is a collection not to be missed!

The stunning Nicholas Kirkwood wedges, shown above, are etched firmly in my mind. Curvaceous and undeniably sexy if there would be one product that I would advise you to invest it, in would be these.

New jewellery came in the form of Dominic Jones, Elke Kramer and ACB by Annie Costello Brown, situated by personal favourites such as Iosselliani and Eddie Borgo.

Another product which caught my eye, were crystal encrusted sunglasses by A. Morir Kerin Rose. At one stage all the press beside me were screaming "oooh" at their every move! 

A further exciting addition to Liberty is the arrival of a collection of, geometric designed, satchel bags by French designer, Florian Denicourt. If it was at all possible to escape with one in hand, I would!

If you like what you see - how can you not - do not fear, everything will be hitting the stores and online very soon. But while the wait is on, for now hit the last of the sales and grab a Liberty bargain!

Next season, AW11 places an importance on rich autumnal tones, with jewelled like shades reminiscent of the Autumn/Winter sun reflecting on the countryside landscape. 

Mulberry's AW11 collection encompasses a classic English elegance. My favourite looks contain statement coats, such as the Clarendon jacket with its bold button finishing, the adventurous scalloped-edged Kilty leather shorts, the buy-me-in-a-heartbeat Carter High Heeled Boots and the sophisticated Tippi Bow Dress, completete with ethereal printed jacket and skirt featuring two oversized pockets. 

In this preview of their AW11 collection, Mulberry showcase their design expertise, combining classic wearable shapes in luxurious materials, with intricate detailing.

One of my favourite bags of the season, I have adopted a passion for the Carter Double handle bag. Chic and timeless in design, this bag is completely modern yet with a vintage twist.

There will be more on Mulberry AW11 to come, but if you are anything like me, pace yourself!!

The Me & Em summer collection is full of stylish, beautifully made and effortlessly flattering clothes.

We are all living in hope that we haven't seen the last of the British summer, so I don't want to showcase all of the AW11 collections - just yet! We have plenty of time to don the swimming cossies, bikini's and maxi dresses.

However with much excitement I would like to tell you that: Primark have achieved a fab collection yet again! Perusing through the collections, a couple of weeks ago, at their FIRST EVER press day, I was "ooohing" or "ahhhing" over everything! 

The colour palette is jewelled with country-esque earth tones and everything you wish for in an AW collection is provided. Tweed, leather, divine knitwear, cotton blouses and the finest faux-fur I have ever seen on the high street, are all in abundance.

So feast your eyes on the above and note down the months they arrive at a store near you!
